Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various hand and power tools to assemble products efficiently.
  • Utilize manufacturing knowledge to work in different sections in production.
  • Follow safety protocols while operating tools and other equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.

Benefits

  • Full-Time production work week of 4 x 10 hour shifts, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Lots of long weekends! Overtime is available some Fridays – it is not mandatory however much appreciated in times of need.

Join our Production Team!

Innotech is an innovative family-oriented manufacturing company located in Gloucester Estates, Langley. Reporting to the QC Manager, the Production QC Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and appearance of the product. This role involves following established processes and adhering to good manufacturing practices, as well as meeting product safety and quality standards. The Production QC Technician conducts various quality assurance tests, maintains testing equipment, and ensures compliance with both internal and external standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create and manage test requests for quality assurance processes
  • Perform various tests, including: Water penetration testing, Air leakage testing, Smoke testing, Corner strength testing
  • Generate detailed and accurate test reports
  • Calibrate and perform minor maintenance on test walls and related equipment
  • Collect and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including photographic evidence
  • Conduct daily quality inspections to ensure product and process compliance
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Previous technical or quality experience in manufacturing is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Previous experience in a QC or testing environment is an asset
  • Physically capable of performing hands-on testing and equipment handling
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to write reports
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Driver’s license and willingness to work overtime if necessary.
Working Conditions

The majority of the time will be spent at the manufacturing facility in Langley. Travel may be required from time to time to visit customer job sites.

Compensation: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
