In this episode, Nicolay Kottke, Product Representative at Innotech Windows + Doors, takes us back to the early days of tilt and turn windows in Canada and to the beginnings of Innotech.
Where it All Began
In 2001, Nicolay’s journey brought him to Innotech’s first plant in Abbotsford, BC.
His first impression? It felt like a family.
That sense of teamwork and shared purpose has stayed with him throughout his years with Innotech. From those early days to the company, it is today, Nicolay has seen firsthand how the people, ideas, and determination have helped shape Innotech along the way.

More Than a Product
For Nicolay, every project is personal. He approaches each home as if it were his own, with the belief that the product is only part of the equation.
Installation, service, support, and having a company like Innotech behind you when challenges arise all matter. After more than 20 years in the industry, Nicolay has seen how much can change and how important it is to keep listening, learning, and improving along the way.
His story is a reminder that behind every window, every project, and every innovation are the people who make it possible.
