Energy Savings
Innotech supplied the new windows for the building. The windows feature a simulated divided lite (SDL) to replicate the building’s original double hung windows. With a black exterior and white interior finish, the new windows provide the necessary ventilation and comfort for guests, while providing energy savings for the owners.
The renovation of the building was a 14-month long design and build process. The result is a memorable new space that beautifully combine the old and the new. The boutique hotel features nine rooms; guests are treated to modern amenities, comfortable spaces and delicious breakfast. The main floor of the building is a now a restaurant: Quartermasters Eatery. Downstairs in the building’s boiler room, the space has been transformed into a quaint whiskey bar aptly named The Boiler Room.
East Kootenay Haven was awarded two 2017 Georgie Awards: Best Custom Home valued between $1,300,000 – $1,899,000 and Best Certified Home – Custom. Congratulations!
Innotech products: Triple seal Tilt + Turn Windows, Picture Windows, Lift + Slide Doors and Entry Doors in silver foil exterior and white interior finish. All windows and doors are also triple glazed and many of the windows have easy access handles (positioned lower on the sash for ease of reach).
