Cliffside Family Haven
Project Overview
This unique custom home is perched on a forested slope overlooking the Straight of Georgia. The home feels like a quiet retreat, with nothing standing between homeowners and the view of the Gulf Islands. This project comes in contact with sun, salt air, and coastal wind. The windows and doors couldn’t just frame the view, they had to perform in it, season after season.

Custom Home
Built for all Seasons
Lentel Construction specified our high-performance windows and doors to meet the challenge of the home’s oceanfront climate. The multi-point sealing systems are built for marine environments, keeping the home comfortable despite constant sun and wind exposure. Slim sightlines let large expanses of glass open the living and dining spaces fully to the water, without competing with the view. The finish also carries the warmth of the home’s natural material palette, including walnut flooring, hemlock ceilings, and clear cedar siding.
The result is a home that meets the owners’ original goal. It’s a place built for entertaining that still feels calm and private, with the Gulf Islands as a constant backdrop. The windows provided expansive views of the breathtaking ocean.
