Project Overview
The Dewinton Estate is an expansive 3-level residence near Calgary, Alberta that features over 12,000 sq. ft. of luxurious living. From the barrel vaulted ceiling in the vestibule, the elegant curved staircase in the marble floored foyer, multiple outdoor patios and terraces, and a stunning indoor pool, this private residence is sophisticated and opulent. And while the home is visually remarkable, it is also built to last: highly insulated 2 x 8 walls with triple glazed Innotech windows and doors.

The extra-high ceilings with the many large picture windows in the living room make this space naturally bright.
The windows and doors are specifically designed for every space in the home. In this guest bedroom, the Terrace Swing Door is flanked by two Tilt + Turn Windows. All three units feature matching transoms.
This window combination pairs a Tilt + Turn Window with two Picture Windows for a large opening with picturesque views of the countryside. We are a big fan of operable windows in bathrooms; natural ventilation is an energy-efficient and effective way to ventilate spaces with high-moisture content. And wow! This custom designed staircase is by far the home’s design anchor.
The dining room features a large square table with floating fireplace and built-in serving bar. There are many different shapes and sizes of windows in the home, including many arch-top windows. The home also features a large indoor pool with hot tub.
